Mexico and China Scheduled for Qwest Field
Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10am

SEATTLE, WASH. In partnership with Soccer United Marketing (SUM), MLS Seattle announced the Mexican National Team will face the national team of China on April 16 at Qwest Field in Seattle.

Tickets will go sale Saturday, March 15 at 10 a.m. Ticket prices range from $20-50 and can be purchased through the following outlets:

1. By calling Ticketmaster at 206.628.0888.
2. Visiting www.mlsinseattle.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
3. In person at all Ticketmaster outlets.
4. In person at the Qwest Field Box Office.
Open Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm; Saturday 10am -2pm

The Qwest Field gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for an 8:00 p.m. start.

“We are excited to partner in this match between Mexico and China,” said MLS Seattle General Manager Adrian Hanauer. “Since we are still 12 months away from our first home match, the opportunity to host these two teams will provide our fans a taste of the world’s game in anticipation of what they will experience next spring at Qwest Field.” 

The Mexican National Team, coached by legendary Hugo Sanchez, will be a mix of its top players based in Mexico in addition to top young players who figure to be part of the Olympic team this summer.

The Chinese National Team is coached by former Serbian star Vladimir Petrovic and led by young Manchester United striker Dong Fangzhuo. China is currently preparing itself for the upcoming AFC World Cup Qualifiers.

A final roster for both teams will be released in upcoming weeks.
