Cinerama
One of the original theatres to feature a curved screen and the ability to show three-strip Cinerama films, the Seattle Cinerama Theatre was rescued from demolition by Paul Allen’s company, Vulcan Inc., in 1998. A multimillion-dollar renovation was undertaken, resulting in the re-emergence of one of the Northwest's most remarkable movie houses. The Cinerama Theatre features state-of-the-art projection and audio systems, 800 red mohair-covered seats, and '60s-inspired interior design.
