Bono underwent emergency surgery on May 21st, following a back injury. In order to fully recover, he is under doctor's orders to start a rehabilitation program and the tour has been postponed.
Tour promoters Live Nation have confirmed that the 16 U2 360° shows from Salt Lake City on June 3rd, through to New Jersey's Meadowlands Stadium on July 19th, will be rescheduled for 2011. There is no change to the European tour dates.
U2 fans in are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled tour dates. New date information will be provided in the very near future.
